No, we didn’t find it at Anthropologie or Free People. As a matter of fact, you can’t even buy it. We actually fell upon it (and immediately fell for it) on the oh-so-creative Craftzine.com blog, where it’s featured with a handy, easy-to-follow tutorial on how to whip one up yourself using an old t-shirt for the body and another as the yarn.

Patternmaker Dolin O’Shea magically brings vintage clothing back to life in the most modern incarnations, and she’s generous enough to share her designs. After devouring her own blog, we’re trying to figure out which old cashmere sweater we can rip apart to turn into the adorable cardigan whose transformation she describes in detail.
